  • 03:30 Wake up!
  • 04:00 Breakfast / coffee (bring some additional food to the start area). Note: remember to also take the normal vitamins and minerals.
  • 04:20 Dress up. Remember to tape up scratch at right collar bone
  • 04:30 Check out from hotel and leave for Race HQ (2.2 km from hotel to Race HQ). Taxi?
  • 05:00 pick up race bib from Race HQ
  • 05:00 Deliver drop bags (2 + 1 for finish)
  • 05:30 Drop bags (latest deadline)
  • 05:30 Go to start area
  • 06:00 Race start

At the moment in Alcudia in Spain at Sunwing Resport. With “all-inclusive” armband, drinking Sangria, reading books, eating cake and relaxing with my kids. In 30 degree Celsius. Today it is Monday. Last week was a recovery week, after the 660 km/6 days adventyre, with 65 kilometers. This week — I will ramp up to 100–150 kilometers, and slow adjust my body (and my head) to the Spartathlon. My first step in that direction is to create this “publication” which I will ues as a project repository with all my notes and comments for this race. At this page, I will add all my gear lists, my training, my worries — and in general all my planing for this upcoming race. Please feel free to add comments and ask me any questions you would like.
